Governance is the product
Analysts expect many agentic AI projects to be canceled by 2027. The ones that survive will be governed from day one.
Gartner has predicted that more than 40% of agentic AI projects will be canceled by the end of 2027. In our conversations with operators, insurers and engineering leaders, the reason is consistent: nobody can prove what the agents will do.
So we made governance the first thing every agent gets, not the last. Before a Cana agent takes its first action it has an identity, an owner, a risk tier, a permission scope, a budget and an audit trail.
Policy at runtime, not at login
Traditional access control checks once, at the door. Agents need checks at every step: is this tool allowed, for this user, with this data, at this cost? Cana's policy engine evaluates every action in real time and can require human approval for anything above a risk threshold.
Governance done well doesn't slow agents down. It's what lets you turn them loose.
