Terms of Service
The terms that govern your access to and use of Cana.
Last updated: June 26, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Cana, operated by Colate Ltd (“Cana”, “we”, “us”) — an agentic workspace for teams (chat, walkie-talkie channels, AI-assisted runs, and file sharing). By creating an account or using Cana, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) and able to form a binding contract. You’re responsible for your account, for keeping your credentials secure, and for activity under your account.
2. The service
We provide the features described in the app. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may suspend or discontinue parts of the service, with reasonable notice where practicable.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to: break the law; infringe others’ rights; upload malware; attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service; abuse the AI features; or use Cana to harass, harm, or send spam. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you create or upload (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely to provide the service to you and your team (including running AI features you invoke). You’re responsible for Your Content and for having the rights to it.
5. AI features
AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete; review them before relying on them. You’re responsible for how you use AI outputs.
6. Intellectual property
Cana, its software, and its branding are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms don’t grant you any rights to them except the limited right to use the service.
7. Third-party services
The service relies on third-party infrastructure and AI providers. Their terms may also apply to the relevant portions of the service.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability is limited as set out here / in your plan agreement.
10. Termination
You may stop using Cana at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms or as required by law. On termination, the provisions that by their nature should survive (e.g., ownership, disclaimers, liability limits) survive.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms; we’ll post changes here and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
